Best purchase I have ever made?!

I am a total shopaholic and to pick the best purchase I have ever made is very very hard. Or should I say was very very hard?!

Yesterday at 3pm I ordered what I thought were the most AMAZING shoes evvvver! Today they arrived... My little sister tried them on when I was at work and said I would have to take them back as I would never be able to walk in so I was looking forward to getting home and seeing them and dreading the thought of having to send them back!

So I walk into my bedroom and they are sat on my bed. I try them on and they are the easiest, and I mean easiest heels I have ever bought! They are so comfy. The platform is so big it makes you walk so easily in them. When you see them you may be concerned about your balance... worry no more. God knows how it works but it works.

Looks at these beauty's...

They cost me £19.99 with £4.99 postage! You can't complain! If anyone would like to know the link comment on this post.

Think I am in love!

Models Needed!

Something I have never had on the website is pictures of people wearing my jewellery so at the moment I am looking for a face of D is for Dazie... The first face of D is for Dazie! I have been very excited to announce this and can't wait to see the response.

Firstly I live it Scotland... a very awkward place to hold a photo shoot as I am probably no where near most of you wanting to apply! This is why it's a photo shoot with a bit of a twist!

How it is going to work:
Firstly I would like anyone wishing to apply to send me a range of images of yourself modelling anything. These can be professional or just everyday photographs. At the moment I am looking for one model to be the face of D is for Dazie that I can work closely with. Contact will be kept through email/ text where we can discuss any photo shoot ideas either of us have or send any inspirational material. This would be very much suited for anyone interested in fashion, jewellery, modelling, blogging or photography.

I will send you the pieces jewellery and nail sets, you will do all the styling and makeup yourself and take the pictures... well you wont be taking the pictures but you could rope you friends/ boyfriend or mum in to help! I am not expecting a lot of pictures maybe a couple of really high quality ones so I can pick one for the website. If working together goes well you could be asked to model new products every couple of months.

Benefits of you modelling for D is for Dazie:
You get to keep any products sent to be modelled. You will also receive regular discounts for the website and possible sample products. You will be referenced in all images when posted on any of my blogs or website. Lastly you will be the face of D is for Dazie... We send products all over the world and we might even use your images on promotional items such as fliers and business cards.

I am excited to hear from you all and wish you the best of luck!

Our email address is: dm.jewellerydesign@gmail.com

Please include you name, age and your blog address (if you have one). You should also include at least three images of yourself.

My Jewels

D is for Dazie Jewellery

Incase you don't know D is for Dazie, here are some examples of my work. All these pieces are currently available on my website.

Hello to the world of blogging!

Hello,

So time to start my first ever blog post. I have never had a blog before apart from my Tumblr and I like that because it's all images, there's no need to write anything. I was no good at English class and have terrible spelling and grammar and you will probably notice this very much throughout EVERY single post I write. I have been told by my baby sister that Tumblr is no longer the blog to have and I should get a blogspot.

So why start a blog? I've started my blog as I am a jewellery designer. I own my own online business where I design and make jewellery. I want to use the blog to not only get my name out there but I like to let people get to know me a little better and also show people my inspirations. I feel it makes me and my jewellery more personal... not just a brand. I studied jewellery design at HND level in Glasgow and have worked in a small family owned workshop. I make things ranging from silver (all handmade by myself) to also handcrafting pieces of jewellery. I started the handcrafted range to suit a younger more fashionable market.

Finally I'll introduce myself... My name is Dominique and I am 21 years old and I live in Scotland. Aside of owning D is for Dazie Jewellery I also work in a car garage full time. I don't know how I even have time to have a social life. I have a big family consisting of my mum and dad, my baby sister, Antonia (you may know her as the owner of Delilah Dust, I've taught her all I know about jewellery and she's now got her own website) and I have two baby brothers Cammy and Fin.

One thing you might notice about me is I can definitely babble... a lot! I don't even know if I'm babbling about the right stuff on here.

Anyway I hope you enjoyed my very first blog post. Don't be too hard on me!
